NEI RECEIVES FIRST PRIZE FOR COMMUNITY EYE CARE SERVICES
NEI has been conferred the First Prize for conducting the maximum number of Comprehensive Community Eye Care Services Camps in the State of Uttarakhand for the year 2018-19.
The award was received by Dr. Asif Khan, Medical Superintendent, NEI at the 1st Annual Meeting of the Association of Community Ophthalmologists of India (ACOIN), organized at Hotel Pacific, Dehradun on Sunday, 28/07/2019.
NEI, which is driven by its Mission to Transforming Patients’ lives by providing Best Eye Care Services, conducted a total of 107 Community Eye Care Camps in the year 2018-19. Under these Camps, a total of 26,244 patients were screened from which 8,129 patients underwent surgery at the Hospital.
The NEI Management dedicates this Award to the committed team of doctors and staff at the Hospital.
