Eye Camp at 302 Light Regiment Raiwala
Nirmal Ashram Eye Institute (NEI), Rishikesh and 302 Light Regiment, Raiwala jointly organized an eye screening camp in the premises of Military Station, Raiwala on 06/04/2019.
The camp was jointly inaugurated by Mrs. Shabnam Rana, First lady of 302 Light Regiment and Dr. Bhupinderpal Kaur, Ophthalmologist from NEI.
The wives and children of JCOs, NCOs and ORs of the Regiment were screened by the Ophthalmologist and Optometrists from NEI for visual acuity and ophthalmic disorders like Cataract and Pterygium.
A total of 85 ladies and children underwent eye examination, of whom, 15 were referred to NEI for further investigation.
The CO and First Lady of the Regiment thanked NEI for organizing the said camp and professed the need for long term, mutually beneficial association between the two Institutions.
