Nirmal Ashram Eye Institute, in collaboration with Mission for Vision and Titan Company Limited (Project Happy Eyes), successfully conducted an eye care awareness program for school teachers in Jaunpur Block on dated 31.1.2025. A total of 42 teachers participated in this interactive session, aimed at equipping them with essential skills to conduct basic vision screening and promote eye health awareness among students.
The training focused on the use of the Snellen chart for vision checks, enabling teachers to identify students who may need further eye examinations. Additionally, the session covered important aspects of spectacle care and general eye health, empowering teachers to educate students on the importance of proper eye care.
The interactive nature of the training ensured active participation, with teachers expressing enthusiasm about their newfound knowledge. They appreciated the opportunity to learn about vision care and are eager to impart this knowledge to their students, ensuring that early detection of vision issues becomes an integral part of school health programs.
This initiative marks a significant step towards improving vision health in school-going children, reinforcing the commitment of Nirmal Ashram Eye Institute, Mission for Vision, and Titan Company Limited (Project Happy Eyes) to enhancing eye care accessibility in the region.
